The highly anticipated Redmi Note 13 series is scheduled to be officially unveiled in China on September 21st. Xiaomi has provided a glimpse into the upcoming smartphones by revealing key details about their camera features. It has been confirmed that the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will boast a triple rear camera setup, led by a 200-megapixel primary sensor. The company has also shared camera samples on the Chinese microblogging platform Weibo.
In addition to the Redmi Note 13 Pro+, Xiaomi has also teased the Redmi Note 13 Pro, which is expected to be equipped with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC. This midrange chipset from Qualcomm is based on the 4nm process and offers an eight-core CPU, featuring four performance cores clocked at 2.4GHz and four efficiency cores clocked at 1.95GHz. On the other hand, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will run on MediaTek’s 4nm Dimensity 7200-Ultra SoC.
Xiaomi has also revealed that the Redmi Note 13 series smartphones will come with an IP68 water and dust resistance rating. Both the Redmi Note 13 Pro and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will feature a 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HP3 Discovery Edition camera sensor, equipped with optical image stabilization (OIS) and electronic image stabilization (EIS).
Furthermore, Xiaomi has shared camera samples of the Redmi Note 13 Pro+, showcasing the advancements in the new image sensor. The samples demonstrate various filters, including Forest Green, Negative, Vivid, and Warm Green.
The official launch of the Redmi Note 13 series is scheduled to take place on September 21st in China. The event will begin at 7:00pm local time.
