Mobil Oil Raises Fuel Prices by 10 Cents in Marianas

Mobil Oil Marianas in Susupe has announced a price increase of 10 cents for its fuel products. The regular gas price has been raised to $5.76 per gallon from $5.66 per gallon, while premium gas now costs $6.21 per gallon, up from $6.11. The price of diesel has also been increased to $6.18 per gallon from $6.08.

It is expected that Shell Marianas will soon follow suit and adjust their fuel prices accordingly. This latest price increase comes after a previous hike in fuel prices earlier this month. Tinian Fuel Services recorded regular gas prices at $7.50 per gallon and diesel prices at $7.89 per gallon after the previous increase. Similarly, Calvo Enterprises on Rota raised their regular gas price to $7.14 per gallon, and diesel to $10.17 per gallon.

These price increases have had an impact on various individuals and businesses. A fisherman on Saipan expressed his concern, stating that the rising gas prices are affecting his fishing activities. As the cost of fuel increases, it becomes more expensive for him to operate his boat for fishing.
