OnePlus has unveiled the design of its upcoming tablet, the OnePlus Pad Go. Serving as a more affordable alternative to the OnePlus Pad, which was released seven months ago, the Pad Go shares a striking resemblance to its predecessor.
While not much information has been revealed, the image of the OnePlus Pad Go showcases a design similar to that of the OnePlus Pad. The tablet features curved corners and thin bezels, giving it a modern and sleek look. The most noticeable difference lies in the back of the device, which now sports a two-tone finish while still maintaining its aluminum construction.
The color palette of the OnePlus Pad Go follows in the footsteps of its predecessor, though it opts for a lighter shade of green. The spun metal finish found on the back of the OnePlus Pad is absent in the Pad Go.
Taking a closer look at the edges, it becomes evident that the OnePlus Pad Go retains the same physical button combination of power and volume buttons. Additionally, the tablet appears to have four speakers, positioned near each corner. Another intriguing feature of the Pad Go is a slot, which could potentially be for expandable storage, a SIM card, or possibly both.
The name and the accompanying tagline, “All Play, All Day,” imply that the OnePlus Pad Go may prioritize battery life. This suggests the tablet may feature a slower chipset and a lower refresh rate display compared to its predecessor while still maintaining similar functionality.
While OnePlus is expected to reveal more details soon, an official announcement and release date for the OnePlus Pad Go have yet to be confirmed.
