Audi Showcases Future-Oriented Drive Technology in Major Cities

Audi is not only utilizing its innovative RS Q e-tron drive technology at the Dakar Rally but also demonstrating it in major cities around the world. Building on the success of their Hamburg tour last year, Audi recently showcased their electric prototype in the capital cities of the three countries represented by their factory drivers. Carlos Sainz and Lucas Cruz took the prototype through Madrid, Stéphane Peterhansel and Edouard Boulanger drove through Paris, and Mattias Ekström and Emil Bergkvist navigated the streets of Stockholm.

During their journey, the Audi driver teams passed by iconic landmarks in each capital, such as the royal palaces in Spain and Sweden, as well as the Eiffel Tower and Sacré-Cœur in Paris. At selected locations, the RS Q e-tron impressed spectators with its powerful 263 kW (358 hp) electric drive, demonstrating its performance through exhilarating drifts.

The presence of the electric prototype attracted the attention of many passers-by, who expressed their fascination by taking photos, asking for autographs, and admiring the eye-catching vehicle. The pro drivers and co-drivers gladly interacted with the public, engaging in conversations and signing autographs.

This demonstration not only showcased the capabilities of the RS Q e-tron but also raised awareness about the future of electric mobility. By bringing their electric prototype to the heart of major cities, Audi highlighted the potential of electric vehicles and their role in shaping sustainable transportation.
