The Chrysler Pacifica has made a significant impact on the minivan market since its introduction in 1983. Now, as Chrysler celebrates 40 years of its minivan heritage, the brand is marking the occasion with the production of the 2024 Chrysler Pacifica. The 2024 model offers advanced features and showcases the brand’s commitment to electrification.
The Chrysler Pacifica has had a successful run, particularly with its hybrid model introduced in 2017. Recently, the 100,000th Pacifica Plug-in Hybrid rolled off the assembly line, a notable achievement considering the decline in minivan sales in Canada. The Pacifica Plug-in Hybrid is the first electrified minivan in the segment and the only one currently qualifying for EV rebates. As Chrysler looks to the future, the Pacifica Hybrid symbolizes the brand’s electrification evolution as it aims for an all-electric lineup by 2028.
The 2024 Chrysler Pacifica introduces some changes to the model lineup. The Pacifica Plug-in Hybrid will now be available in two variants: the Pacifica Plug-in Hybrid Select and the top-trim Pacifica Plug-in Hybrid Pinnacle. Customers can further customize their Select models with optional appearance packages. The premium Pacifica Pinnacle also features a new Sepia interior color, along with two new exterior colors, Red Hot and Baltic Gray.
In terms of safety features, the 2024 Chrysler Pacifica models are equipped with an Emergency Vehicle Alert System (EVAS). This new feature, integrated into the carmaker’s infotainment system, provides in-vehicle notifications of nearby emergency vehicles or roadway hazards.
The new 2024 Chrysler Pacifica and Pacifica Plug-in Hybrid models are expected to start arriving at dealerships in October 2023, offering customers advanced features and options as they continue to build on the legacy of Chrysler’s minivan heritage.
