Bemmel, the Netherlands: SolarTotal Holding B.V. announced today the appointment of Pieter van den Tillaart as the company's Chief Financial Officer. SolarTotal, headquartered in the Netherlands, sells and installs solar photovoltaic systems (PV systems) in Belgium, France, Spain, the Netherlands, Italy and Germany. Van den Tillaart has taken up his new position officially as per January 1st 2009 and has already been involved since the financial investment of SET Venture Partners in SolarTotal, as announced in November 2008. His responsibilities will include putting into place the structure and mechanisms required to support SolarTotal's further international expansion, keeping up with the company's fast pace of growth.
Prior to joining SolarTotal, Van den Tillaart was CFO and member of the Board of Directors at TMC Group N.V., an Alternext-Euronext listed Technology and ICT Service Provider. Before that, he held various posts at Royal Philips Electronics N.V. and PricewaterhouseCoopers N.V. giving him a total of more than 10 years of experience in financial strategy, corporate governance & compliance, M&A, investor relations, business control and international financial systems & processes.
